So we know that he doesn't always go back to the same place when he goes from the normal world to the fantasy world, but what about the passage of time? Is he going to end up going back to Japan and then come back only to for the girl to be tracking him down now that she's an adult?

Author literally had the perfect excuse to say that she’s an adult and her younger form was the weirder one due to saving magic or something, why does the author need to be such a creep.
The manga isn’t even bad plot wise, I’m really happy with the MCs development (although I’m unsure how much he will develop past that first few chapters), just sucks that everything is so temporary, feels like this manga may end up being a collection of short isekai story’s then he goes back after a “break” to his world and repeat without meeting the previous people anymore.

He really needs to explain his situation better instead of letting her go and announce to her parents she's getting a marriage partner. He's a shifter from another world, who was drawn to her call for help and who will likely disappear soon, so he can't stay.

1000% agree. I am sick and tired of the trope of "Oh no, I can't use my fucking voice to say no, because that would solve this entire thing immediately! I better just go along with this as to not hurt the literal child's feelings."
I would pay good cash money to have an MC that said "FUCK IT!" to the tropes, and acted like an actual person with common sense.
