Legalpack

Create Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy for your WordPress. Add disclaimers for affiliate links. And more.

Legalpack by TermsFeed simplifies a wide range of legal requirements your WordPress website might be required to keep up with.

Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy

Legalpack helps you create three of the most important legal pages your website needs using a simple wizard:

  • Terms & Conditions
  • Privacy Policy
  • Cookies Policy

Additionally, you can create a custom legal page based on your needs. More legal agreements for your website are also available at https://termsfeed.com

Compliance Kits

Legalpack helps you comply with the law by giving you a head start through "Compliance Kits":

  • Links to Legal Pages. Your legal pages must be visible and accessible to all users. Use this Kit to automatically insert the links to your legal pages in the footer section of your website.

  • Update Notices of Legal Pages. It is best practice to inform users when you have updated your legal pages. After a legal page update, use this Kit to show an announcement bar for a limited time to your users.

  • Cookies Notice. EU Cookies Directive law requires you to inform users that you use cookies through your website. Use this Kit to show an announcement bar to comply with the EU Cookies Directive.

  • Endorsements. You need to disclose if you have affiliate links on your website. Use this Kit to include a disclaimer at the end of your posts (all or certain posts only).

What legal agreements can Legalpack create?

Legalpack can currently create the following legal agreements for your WordPress using a simple wizard:

  • Terms & Conditions
  • Privacy Policy
  • Cookies Policy

You also have the option to create a custom legal page by selecting "Custom legal page" from the "Add Legal Page" menu.

Why do I need a Terms & Conditions?

A Terms & Conditions can be used to enforce community guidelines, copyright protection and termination rules that you will want to have for your website.

Why do I need a Privacy Policy?

Depending on your jurisdiction, a Privacy Policy is required by law in most countries if you collect and use personal information from users (either directly or through third parties).

Personal information can be anything that can identify an individual: email address, names, addresses and so on.

How can I insert the links to Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy?

Legalpack can automatically insert the links to your legal pages (be it a Terms & Conditions and/or a Privacy Policy) by enabling the "Links to Legal Pages" Kit.

You have the option to customize the links section to match your theme: font, font color, text alignment and so on.

When do I need to inform users about updating my legal pages?

You can inform users before and after you have updated your legal pages with new terms. Currently, Legalpack "Update Notices of Legal Pages" Kit allows you to automatically inform users after you have updated your legal pages.

Simply enable the "Update Notices of Legal Pages" Kit and whenever you will update your legal pages, Legalpack will show an announcement bar through your website for a limited time.

How can I inform users that my website uses cookies?

One of the requirements of the EU Cookies Directive is to inform users about the use of cookies through your website.

Legalpack "Cookies Notice" Kit helps you show an announcement bar through your website that can be used to comply with the EU Cookies Directive.

The EU Cookies Directive may contain more requirements that you may need to be aware of. Please read our guide on this: https://termsfeed.com/blog/eu-cookies-directive/

How can I add a disclaimer at the end of my post when I have affiliate links?

You can use Legalpack "Endorsements" Kit to automatically add a custom disclaimer at the end of every post or on certain posts, i.e. if the post has the tag "disclaimer".

You can use this disclaimer to inform users that your post and/or your website has affiliate links and disclose more information about your affiliate relationships with third parties.
